Hello fellow Saints in the works! I am so glad you have stopped by to visit. I can’t wait to get to know you!
My name is Toni and I live in South Dakota with my husband and two children, Ashlee 23, and Sean 21 and I am passionate about God. We are a family doing our best to live out our Catholic faith and become saints. We moved from Wyoming to South Dakota a year and a half ago and are working to find our place here. With us came our granddogs, Autumn, Lainey, Kiara and Rosco. We are finding most of those living in the surrounding area don’t understand our love for our dogs but they really are part of our family. When we decided to move away from Wyoming we weren’t really sure where we would end up. My husband, Don received 3 job offers, 2 in Colorado and one here in South Dakota. What made us decide to move further away from our family in Wyoming……the great Catholic community here in South Dakota. It is amazing!!
I am a Catholic convert. I was baptized on the same day as my daughter! I love the fact that we were able to share that big day. I am learning and growing daily. I will share my conversion story at a later date, which actually happens ten years later with the death of my nephew, Brayden.
Now, at 43 I find myself dabbling here and there trying to find my niche. I planted several vegetables last year and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. I also enjoyed the fruit of someone else’s labor in my flower garden and being in awe every time something new bloomed and I will be sure to share all those pictures. I am finding myself signing up for lots of bible studies. This is such a treat for us to have bible studies to attend. I am attempting crocheting but find my attention span is too little to complete the project I started before Christmas! I am catching up on some reading, I am reading Unbound A Practical Guide to Deliverance from Evil. by Neal Lorazo and finding lots of great information via internet and YouTube to use on this journey to sainthood. There is always this fear that I just don’t have enough time to get a hold of all that wonderful information out there.
This blog is my tool to work on my extrovert wannabe side of me. I love talking to people and this is a great avenue to do that. My hope is to find others who are walking a similar path, searching for myself while I wait for Ashlee and Sean to find the person that God has called to walk this life with them and all those grandchildren I am praying God will bless us with that I can spoil and love on.
Just a little note, this is a work in progress, please be patient as I get momentum and come back to see what I have added.
